What is Topographical Design on Drinkware?
A topographical design uses elements from topographic maps - which are detailed charts used to show the shape and elevation of the land's surface. These maps use contour lines, which are imaginary lines that connect points of equal elevation, to visually represent a three-dimensional landscape on a two-dimensional surface.
On the new Pelican drinkware, this design is finished with a smooth coating and a raised 3D pattern on the stainless steel, giving it a unique tactile feel and adding visual depth that mirrors the look of a physical relief map. It's a stylish nod to nature and exploration, turning an everyday hydration accessory into a piece of functional art.
The New Lineup: Built for Performance
Both items in the collection are built with sustainability in mind, crafted from 90% recycled, pro-grade 18/8 stainless steel and featuring double-wall vacuum insulation with a copper lining for superior temperature control. They are also FDA compliant, BPA-free, and designed to fit most car cup holders.
The Porter is built for all-day hydration. It features:
